This little script allows easy tesing of AROS' new
storage device compatible USB stack. It is meant to
help bug reporting and it performs some basic
operations:
1. initialize drivers
2. launch sashimi
3. asks user to attach and detach a USB stick
4. writes the output to usboutput.txt file
IMPORTANT
You MUST install the USB-Tester drawer in work:.
No other directories, just work:. If you haven't
any Work: drive, please install this test script
wherever you like, but assign WORK: to the parent
directory.
USAGE
1. Boot AROS with the most recent personal or
nightly build
2. run "usbtest" from work:USB-Tester
3. follow instructions on the screen
4. once done a test, please RESET your machine
5. copy work:USB-Tester/usboutput.txt on a
working removable media or in PUB: (VmwAROS),
and transfer it to another computer using any
ftp client. Follow your VmwAROS manual to learn
how to do that.
6. send the output to the bugtracker, or contact
AROS developers directly.
Newer test results will be added to the former
ones. To clean your output file, just delete it:
il will be re-crated on the next test-run.
