The official game ReadMe is very short, so here are a
few quick notes for AROS users.
Lariad is a jump and shoot platformer with its own style.
The game uses OpenGL and seems to play best with native
Nvidia drivers. Other video chipsets may not be as smooth.
The game starts in fullscreen mode, or you can use
the -w argument from command line to run in window mode.
After clicking on start, the menu will give 2 options.
Confident, gives tutorial instructions and has more lives.
Heroic, is normal game play.
The TODO list mentions a slow-down bug. If it happens,
hit escape to get the menu, quit the game and go to the
workbench. Then restart and continue from last save point.
Worked for me.
The game does not have too many levels. So it's possible
to finish in a few sessions. Good luck!
