An AROS Wallpaper - 01
Copyright © 2006 by Federico Stango

This is my first attempt to create a nice looking wallpaper for AROS. I've been
studying a new logo for AROS for quite a while now and I ended up using a font
that's a good mix between the original and the new Amiga(tm) logo. It was an
interesting add to put in the "o" the red box used as the dot on the "i" of
Amiga. Needless to say I couldn't stop myself from even adding the Boing Ball to
the scene to somehow celebrate the guys that started it all with Amiga back in
the eigthies. One last thing: I used green as the dominant color because it
means "hope" and it's one of my favorite colors after all.

The whole picture has been modeled and rendered with Lightwave [8] from NewTek:
a great 3D package that was born on the Amiga and that still rocks even if they
only care about the PC and MacOS versions nowadays. AfterEffects 6.5 from Adobe
has been used to finish it.

That's all folks! Just enjoy it and remember to contact me if you'd like to see
some more. At the moment I'm trying to prepare an animation to be used as the
bootscreen of my soon to be bought AROS machine. As soon as I have it done I'll
post it like I did with this one you just downloaded.

Notes:
This picture is free to be used as it is as long as no profit is gained directly
or indirectly with its use. If anyone wishes to distribute it, this has has to
be done together with the document you are reading in this very moment and
giving notice of it to the author it's highly welcomed. Any modify to the
picture or the use of the logo design for any other project has to be agreed
with the author.
