Arrakis is the second demo produced for the Apple iPod nano G1.
NOT presented at The Ultimate Meeting 2006 but a decade later at Nordlicht 2016.

This demo was intended to be a quick follow-up to "nano", the winner of the
Evoke 2006 wild demo compo. The music was done first and the style and name of
the track set the general topic, though we tried to avoid any direct Dune
references, so no sandworms and Fremen. Instead, the slow part of the music
inspired a story around rain in the desert. However, there was no clear idea
what should happen during or after the rain, and after only a few days of coding
and designing, the project was scrapped for the lack of ideas.
For a whole decade. Until 2016.

This is KeyJ's first visit to the Nordlicht demoparty, and its unique
gravedigger compo is a perfect reason to revive the old code and fill the
remaining 50% of the demo with something that's at least loosely related to the
topic. Don't expect any coherence though :)

Aros port is using SDL 1.2 to run and like Nano demo is running at less than
800x600 resolution.
Press "s" during execution of the demo to save a screenshot.
