Rock Dodger

Introduction

Use the space key to start a new game.  You have to dodge the rocks that come
flying in from the right.  By shooting at them with your laser you can heat
them until they explode.  The shield makes you invincible while you keep it
activated.  Both shield and laser have a limited power supply which recharges
only slowly.

Dodge the rocks for as long as possible until you die. Kill greeblies to make
the universe safe for non-greeblie life once again. Maybe you can get rid of
some blubats...

Controls

    * Up = go up
    * Down = go down
    * Left = go left
    * Right = go right
    * D = fire laser!
    * S = Shields (very useful!)
    * P = Pause 

    * F1 = Setup screen
    * Esc = Quit game

Command line options (with stack at least 320000)

 -s = silent (no sound)
 -w = run in windowed mode (Full screen is the default)
 -h = list all command line options
 -I = show the intro

This game had once upon in time the 4th place in NoStarch game contest!

This update contains minor corrections.

Btw, Rock Dodger does not check if a selected screen size is supported. So try
using a screen resolution before saving the configuration.

If the saved setup does not load, enter the rd_data drawer and delete the
config file (.rockdodger). Then the game will start with the default config
again.

If the game graphics is not smooth, try reducing the resolution.
